AT TWELVE

I just wrote a five page paper on the message and purpose of the third photograph. They are from Sally Mann's book At Twelve: Portaits of Young Girls, which you showed me in your bedroom. The girl in the second photo does not want to be near her mother's boyfriend and Mann was forced to crop the elbow out because the girl refused to move closer. A few months later, her mother shot the man in the face for doing indecent things to her daughter.

I had to write a paper on the opening shot of "Vertigo" which I think was done really well. This movie made me miss San Francisco.

what's a matta withu

When I can't concentrate on my film class homework I take screen shots. Marlon Brando in "On The Waterfront" did deserve Best Actor. I couldn't stop staring at at his fucked up eyebrows and sideways talking mouth.
