this last image really speaks to me as a full time student. it was hard to watch this clip now after living around so many magical street cats, but i still love it just the same. i want to fast forward to spring.

In the past few months I have been obsessively listening to Ariel Pink's "Before Today" album. The day I was packing for vacation I listened to it about six times in a row and we went to see them the night before. Trying to get into the sold out show, we creeped around like teens behind the venue and handed the bass player a lighter. All of us were too sober to walk up and ask if was any way to get in but as we went to the car the bouncer told us we could see their set. I felt truly happy while watching the performance. This album is so goooood.... it reminds me of scanning the radio and getting many different genres at once. It also reminds me of my time in Portland because I'd listen to it everyday in the empty house by myself. Must stop listening repeatedly so I don't burn myself out.
